Ella Boyd-Wong (she/her) is a Company Member with Lazy Susan Theatre Co. She is happy to contribute to the Chicago theatre community as a playwright, director, and performing arts admin. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in English & Creative Writing from the University of Iowa, Ella now house manages with local stage theatres, has become a company member with Sandbox Theatre Collective, and advocates for affordable and approachable theatre. She urges all writers to remember that Maya Angelou once said, “We write for the same reason that we walk, talk, climb mountains, and swim in the oceans – because we can.”
